Are Faithful You

Circumstances come causing shock, confusion and disbelief

Anger, wild thoughts and panic pour into heart and mind like a flood

I turn to You, remembering the stories of old

I turn to You, with hope, trying to believe what I've been told.

That You care, that You are there, that for You this isn't unexpected.

Oh God I cry, I call to You. Help me to hear Your voice.

Calm my heart and lead me in Your light.

May forgiveness, faith and repentance take precedence in my heart

Let me see Your hand moving, working for salvation

Let my heart rejoice and my lips give You praise

When I see how You work in amazing ways

For You are faithful - to Your words and to Your story

You are faithful, even when we are not. All this is to Your glory.

Psalm 33: 20-22:

Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.
Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.
