I Need Revival

I need Your light to shine in me,  
I need to meet you face to face. 
I need the rocks to break within my heart,  
I need You to fill their place.

So much talk about revival, 
About many who will be saved.  
But if it’s happening around me, what’s the point  
If my heart remains unchanged? 

Jesus, I need revival,  
I am blind and cold and bound. 
Although I have been close to You,  
In this condition I am found.  

 
My Lord, I need revival,  
Have mercy, expose the sin and pride 
Lurking in this darkened heart,  
Give them no more place to hide. 

If You choose to use an earthquake 
To shake what’s in my heart.  
May my lips cry out that You are just 
And ask for mercy on my part. 

Jesus, I need revival. 
Please – do not pass me by.  
When you visit the lost and weary souls,  
Please remember, among them, here am I.
